Today I’m sharing my mom’s favorite drink, her “Nana’s Nightcap”, strawberry Prosecco cocktail made with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! My mom is the Queen of all things festive and fun. She can masterfully throw together amazing parties, craft homemade presents for everyone in the family, and entertain us all with her wit and humor.
Her motto is to take simple items and turn them into “cheap but fabulous” creations! I also credit her with inventing “puzzle art” (building a puzzle, gluing it together, framing it, and hanging it on the walls of her home) and for making paint-by-number crafts a true art form (see her amazing Starry Night paint-by-number artwork below!)
My mom is also the reason we were able to make our Morning Show Debut last November on Good Morning America. After we both filmed segments for the show in our homes, she flew to NYC and surprised us live on air!
When thetidydad.com launched one year ago, she started sending me content ideas, recipes, magazine clippings, and photos of her own creations, in the hopes of one day gracing the pages of this very website. Her “Nana’s Nightcap”: strawberry Prosecco cocktail is the perfect way to introduce her creations to all of you. It’s light, refreshing, and the perfect summer party cocktail!
*Makes 4 drinks
