Our youngest daughter is turning 4 years old this month. We asked ourselves “What should I get a 4 year old for her birthday?” and decided to stick to our rhythm of using gift giving occasions to focus on giving items in the categories of “something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read.” Here are some unique birthday gifts for 4 year olds, inspired by our littlest girl!

It’s always fun for kids to open a new toy on their birthday! If you’re wondering “what are 4 year olds playing with?”, here are some things we think our daughter will enjoy! She LOVES to play with baby dolls and animals, so new doll accessories or a small animal set is perfect for something you want.

Our three girls LOVE playing with their baby dolls. Our youngest daughter recently grabbed her “Baby Lisa” on the way to the airport for our vacation. We know she’ll love this play travel set so that her baby can have her own suitcase, sunglasses, passport, tickets, camera, and more!
