Our middle daughter is turning 5 years old this month. We love to use birthdays and other gift giving occasions to focus on giving our girls items in the categories of “something to play, something to learn, something to craft, something to wear, something to read”. Here’s a list of things our middle girl has been loving recently, or that we’re gifting for her upcoming birthday. Something to PLAY

Kidzlane deluxe veterinarian kit – Our girls love to play doctor with their baby dolls, and now they’ll also be able to play veterinarian with their stuffed animals. The 2 friends go on lots of adventures, filled with playful illustrations and silly captions. It’s a fun introduction to graphic novels and early chapter books.

Yoto audio player – All 3 of our girls love listening to audio books and music on their Yoto Players. We love that the device has no cameras, microphones, or ads. We love adding new audio cards to their collection on gift-giving occasions. Our middle daughter recently got The Narwhal and Jelly Collection, and now she can follow along with the paperback version of the books from the box set (above).
