Valentine’s Day is a fun occasion to show the people in your life that you love them. We have three young daughters and they LOVE crafting together. We’re sharing links to Valentine’s Day craft kits that could make perfect gifts for the kids in your life, inspired by our daughters!
Glitter Dot Markers (ages 2+): These dot markers are easy for toddlers to paint with, without using paint brushes, finger pants, or spilling cups! Our girls love dabbing dots on paper, and using these to color, stamp, and decorate. There are multiple versions available, but this shimmer glitter set is extra fun!
Dot Markers Activity Book (ages 2+): This is a fun coloring book to pair with a dot markers set. The images have circles perfectly sized for dotting. The paper is high quality paper stock with black reverse pages for less paint bleed-through. This set is great for toddler kids to practice learning to paint!
Erasable Heart Crayons (ages 3+): Each of these bright crayons has two sides in coordinating colors. They can be twisted into a heart shape or an oval shape. They are easy for little hands to hold, and are also erasable! These is a great set for toddler and preschool artists to use for coloring and drawing. (also available on Amazon!)
Decorate-Your-Own Wooden Heart Chest (ages 4+): Our girls love having little boxes to put their treasures and trinkets in. This one looks extra special because they can decorate it themselves! The set includes a wooden box and everything you need to decorate it, including glitter glue, white glue, colorful gems, 4 pots of paint, and a paintbrush.
Created by Me! Princess Wands (ages 4+): Our girls love dressing up and pretending to be princesses. I know they would enjoy this activity to paint and decorate their own wooden princess wand. This craft kit includes a wooden star, a dowel, 2 satin ribbons, gem stickers, 4 pots of paint, a paintbrush, 2 glitter glues, and white glue. This is sure to be an engaging craft activity, that then leads to imaginative play!
Created by Me! Heart Beads (ages 4+): Our girls love designing jewelry and stringing together beads to make a unique, personalized accessory they can really wear. This set includes cords in 5 different colors and over 120 beads, so kids can create a variety of necklaces. It also includes a wooden tray to store and organize the beads between jewelry crafting sessions!
Wooden Stamp Set: Friendship (ages 4+): This set includes 9 wooden stamps, a two-color stamp pad and 5 colored pencils. Our girls enjoy using stamps to decorate notes, cards, letters, and construction paper. This set includes some fun designs to brighten any paper!
Scratch Art Doodle Pad (ages 4+): How fun is this scratch art paper? When you scratch the paper with the wooden stylus it reveals bright colors and patterns on the pages, hidden beneath the matte coating. The doodle pad includes 16 spiral-bound pages with a mini stylus that snaps into a built-in holder. This is a fun and unique way to draw pictures and patterns on a blank page, and reveal an amazing design!
Stained Glass Made Easy – Butterfly (Ages 5+): This stained glass butterfly would make a beautiful addition to the window in a kid’s bedroom. The kit is designed to help kids easily create a beautiful stained glass. It includes stained glass stickers that can be peeled and pressed onto the frame to create a colorful design. Then hang the finished project in a sunny window and watch it shimmer and glow!
Valentine’s Hidden Pictures (ages 6+): This search and find book includes images created with an inverted white-on-black design. The hidden pictures puzzles invite kids to find valentine-themed objects hidden within a scene. Then they get to use the included neon pink highlighter to color the found images!
Grow A Little Love (ages 6+): This mini heart-shaped container is a great place to plant an indoor garden. Fill it with the potting mix and chia seeds, add water and sunlight, and watch it grow!
Light-Up Heart Marquee (ages 7+): This set includes a heart for kids to color and decorate with rhinestones, glitter glue and markers. Then they slide the LED lights into the pink mesh tubing to light up their design! It creates their own custom light-up heart marquee to display in their room.
String Art Heart Light (ages 8+): This set lets kids create their own light-up lantern! It includes an inflatable heart, and you get to wrap it using pink yarn and craft glue and create a heart-shaped lantern. It also includes LED light strings and a battery box, and you can light up the heart and watch it glow in the dark! This would be a fun way to create a nightlight that can really be used in their bedroom, and add personalized decor.
