We partnered with York Wallcoverings for wallpaper to makeover our bathroom! They have so many beautiful choices for wallcoverings. We’ll be sharing our cottage bathroom wallpaper updates, as we work through the DIY process.
Emily and I are so excited about our latest DIY project at our Woodland Cottage. Since purchasing the home in 2019, we’ve spent time adding our personal touches to the space! Our latest project involves adding wallpaper to the upstairs bathroom.
Our cottage is located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. The previous owners updated the bathroom with new tile and a new vanity, but the walls and floor are very beige. When choosing the color scheme for our cottage, we wanted to use the landscape as inspiration. We’ve incorporated shades of green and blue in many of the rooms, but haven’t experimented with wallpaper. Until now!
For this project we’re partnering with York Wallcoverings, a Pennsylvania-based company. York is the oldest and largest wallcovering producer in the United States, manufacturing residential wallpaper, commercial wallcoverings and wall decals that can be found across 85 countries worldwide.
We selected 6 wallpaper samples from York Wallcoverings so that we could see them in our space. When selecting wallpaper samples, we wanted to choose designs that would help the bathroom to coordinate with the color schemes of the rest of the cottage. We selected patterns that incorporated vines, flowers, and varying shades of colors that are found right outside our windows!

Garden Party Premium Peel & Stick Wallpaper in Indigo – York Premium Peel & Stick
After looking at all 6 wallpaper samples in the bathroom, we chose the Wildwood Unpasted Wallpaper in Navy by Rifle Paper Co. We love the deep navy blue background color of the paper and the greenery and wildflowers in shimmering golds, blues, and pinks. The paper reminds us of the beauty of late spring in the Poconos. We’re so excited to see this wallpaper up in the bathroom!
We’ll be sharing our cottage bathroom wallpaper updates, as we work through the DIY process. Thanks again to York Wallcoverings for providing us with the wallpaper for this project, and be sure to check out their full selection of wallcoverings! UPDATE: Here’s a link to the Cottage Wallpaper Project reveal!
