1. A new rhythm: Family musical nights
We’ve crossed the “My Fair Lady” movie off the list.
2. A cake triumph: Strawberry cake that wasn’t too sweet
We used our new princess cake baking set and celebrated Mabel’s 5th birthday with a virtual party.
3. Sisterhood: Big sister is a BIG help
Our NeaterBed tabs are still keeping these bunk beds tidy.
4. Yard update: Man using kid gardening tools
I don’t have my own, so I’ll just keep using this kid-size metal garden tool set.
5. Exhausted parents: Babies are hard work
Based on the imaginative play conversations we overhear, these Barbies are tired.

A public school teacher in New York City, husband, and father of three young daughters, he has been featured on Good Morning America and in The Washington Post, The New York Times, New York Post, Better Homes & Gardens Secrets of Getting Organized magazine, Apartment Therapy, and many podcasts including HGTV and Minimalist Moms. During the school year, he lives with his wife, Emily, a pediatric occupational therapist, and three daughters in Queens, New York. In the summer, they spend as much time as possible in their small but tidy cottage in the Poconos.
